Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea, South America is a vast, diverse and exciting continent, brimming with charm, energy and unbridled opportunities for adventure! Having slowly backpacked my way around 4 of the 12 countries that make up South America, I can easily say that this part of the world will never fail to amaze you and keep you coming back for more! From being home to indigenous people, incredible flora/fauna and rugged mountain ranges, to access to the Amazon Rainforest and historical sites like Machu Picchu, SA has to be one of the most exciting parts of the world to experience as a traveller.
