I have been calling the UK my ‘home’ for nearly 3 decades now. And, despite (obviously) being a huge advocate for breaking out of the Western ‘bubble’ by venturing to other parts of the world to get a well-rounded perspective of other people’s language, food, culture etc., I wholeheartedly believe that the UK has just as much cool and interesting stuff to experience as somewhere overseas. The UK has endless travel opportunities and some of them can be found right on your doorstep. Here are some of my suggestions to get you exploring closer to home.
